Therapeutic massage, strong and concentrated, releasing deeply-held patterns of muscular contraction. This technique is used to break up scar tissue and physically break down muscle "knots" or adhesions (bands of painful, rigid tissue) that can disrupt circulation and cause pain, limited range of motion, and inflammation. Muscles and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles) are opened and lengthened and you will feel a deep level of realignment in your body and mind.
