PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE

My art has been through an evolution of time, as I personally have too. I wanted to understand myself through old photographs and materials of my ancestors. Through this search I discovered a deeper sense of myself. When I worked on the BE LOVED project in El Paso, Texas, I had to shift from feeling myself in the past, to feeling myself in the present and reflect the present and the future into my wood panels. Shapes and forms expressed as measurement, rhythm, symbols and transformation of figure and principle provided an answer to my questions about life and it’s spiritual implications. The focus was the manifestation of BE LOVED. To be able to harness your true destinies and desires in life subconsciously, into a vision and then into reality, everything you want in the universe is already yours. The clearer your thoughts and thinking on the matter, the more time and precision the delivery will come.
